About DoodleGuesser
DoodleGuesser is a free draw-and-guess party game that runs in a web browser. One player draws a secret word, everyone else types guesses, and the game keeps time and score. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
Who runs it
Operator: DoodleGuesser.
Contact for questions, feedback, reports and privacy requests: hello@doodleguesser.com. The site is free to use; content pages may show Google ads, and game rooms do not load ads.
What it does
- Multiplayer rooms for 2–8 players. Public rooms can be found through Quick join; private rooms only through their link or code.
- Automatic turns: the drawer picks a word in 15 seconds and draws for up to 80 seconds; guesses are checked and scored automatically.
- The interface is available in English, Chinese, German, Dutch, French, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese and Korean, and official words are accepted in all of them.
- Custom word lists of up to 100 words in private rooms.
- Solo Draw for practice, a public Gallery, a Guess the Doodle mode, a leaderboard and a public feedback board.
The full rules, including scoring and what happens when someone disconnects, are on the How to play page.
What it is good for
- Friends or family playing together over a video call.
- A short warm-up or vocabulary game in a classroom, with the teacher hosting a private room and a custom word list.
- An icebreaker for a remote team meeting.
- Drawing practice on your own with Solo Draw.
Current limitations
- There are no accounts. The leaderboard groups scores by nickname, so two people using the same nickname share a row, and there is no way to ban an individual player.
- Automatic reconnection works while the page stays open. Closing or reloading the page makes you rejoin as a new player, and a room is deleted 2 minutes after everyone has left.
- A custom word list can only be set when a private room is created and cannot be edited afterwards.
- Moderation is automatic: common offensive words are masked, and Gallery drawings are hidden after 3 reports. Reports are not reviewed by a person in real time.
- You can delete your own Gallery drawings only from the browser you uploaded them from; otherwise, email us.
- Drawing works on phones, but it is noticeably easier on a tablet or computer.
- The detailed guides are written in English first; some translated guides are shorter.
Feedback, reports and deletion
Bugs and ideas: post them on the feedback board. Posts are public, so leave out personal information.
Inappropriate drawings: press Report during the game or in the Gallery. For anything urgent, such as personal information or threats, email hello@doodleguesser.com.
Deleting data: remove your own Gallery drawings from the results screen or from the Gallery in the same browser. To remove a leaderboard nickname, a feedback post or an older drawing, email hello@doodleguesser.com with the nickname and roughly when it was created.
