How to play
Rules take a minute to learn; the fun lasts all night.
Create or join a room
Create a room, then send the link or room code to friends. 2–8 players to start.
Drawer picks a word
Each turn the drawer gets 2 words and has 15 seconds to pick one.
Draw against the clock
The drawer has 80 seconds to express the word with the brush — no letters, no saying the answer!
Race to guess
Everyone else types guesses in the chat (Chinese or English both count). Correct guesses are never revealed, so others can keep guessing.
Scoring
A correct guess earns 100 base points + up to 100 speed bonus; the drawer gets 40 points per correct guesser.
Rotation & results
The drawer rotates in join order, and everyone draws the same number of turns (rounds adjust to the player count). Highest total score wins.
Drawing Tips for Artists
Keep it Simple & Iconic
Don't draw detailed sketches! Time is short (80s). Focus on the defining characteristics of the object (e.g., long ears for a rabbit) so it's easily recognized.
Use Colors for Context
Use the 6 crayon colors! Draw the sun in yellow, grass in green, and fire in red. Accurate colors help players guess much faster.
Strictly No Letters or Spelling
Never write the word, letters, or spelling on the canvas! It breaks the fun and can get you kicked from the room.
Clear and Start Over Quickly
If your drawing goes wrong, don't waste time trying to fix a mess. Just hit "Clear" or undo to start fresh — it's often much faster.
Guessing Strategies
Watch the Blanks & Category
The top bar shows the category (e.g., Animal, Food) and blanks indicating the letter count. As the timer ticks down, letters reveal slowly. Keep your eyes on it!
Speed is Points
Guessing correctly awards a base of 100 points, plus up to 100 speed bonus points the faster you answer. Even if you aren't first, you still get solid points.
Guess Often, Guess Wildly
There is no penalty for wrong guesses! Type whatever comes to mind in the chat. Sometimes your wrong guesses spark the correct answer for your teammates.
Lobby Configurations
Best Player Count
Rooms support 2 to 8 players. While 2 can play, games with 4-6 players offer the best balance, fast rotation, and maximum fun.
Custom Word Library
In the lobby, the host can paste a custom word list separated by commas. Perfect for inside jokes, themed parties, or vocabulary study!
Smart AFK Protections
15-Second Idle Drawer Skip
Once a turn starts, if the drawer makes no brush strokes for 15 seconds, the game skips their turn automatically to save everyone's time.
2-Round Inactivity Auto-Kick
In public rooms, players who show no activity (no guesses, no drawings) for 2 consecutive rounds are automatically removed to free up space.
30-Second Host AFK Handover
If a host is away and fails to start the next round, the room ownership automatically transfers to the next active player after 30 seconds.
